1. Download the release
Open the GitHub release page and download the ZIP package for version 4.3.2.
2. Extract the complete archive
Right-click the downloaded ZIP file, select Extract All, and choose a normal writable folder such as Documents or Desktop.
Do not run YTDM directly from inside the ZIP archive.
3. Launch YTDM
Open the extracted folder and double-click YTDM.bat. You can also start it from Command Prompt:
.\YTDM.bat
4. Windows security prompt
If Windows displays a warning for a downloaded script, verify that you downloaded the archive from the official GitHub repository, then use the available option to run it.
5. Verify program status
Open Program Status from the main menu. Confirm that yt-dlp, ffmpeg, ffprobe, and ffplay are detected.
